Geothermal Energy Landscape in the Middle East

1)Geothermal Energy Landscape in the Middle East – Regional Strategy Study

This study synthesizes heat flow, Curie depth, geophysical, reservoir and policy data to map geothermal opportunities across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Türkiye, Jordan, UAE, Iran, Iraq, Oman and Yemen. It classifies volcanic, rift margin and sedimentary basin plays, identifies priority pilot areas (e.g., Arabian Shield harrats, Red Sea/Gulf of Suez, DST basins, Western Desert and interior aquifers), and links them to suitable technology pathways and policy actions.
