1)Integrated Geoscience Framework for CO₂ Storage in Carbonate–Evaporite Reservoirs – Middle East
This work proposes a unified, risk‑based workflow for CO₂ storage site assessment in carbonate saline aquifers and depleted gas fields, combining screening matrices, 3D seismic‑driven characterization, compositional simulations, coupled flow–geomechanics, geochemistry and probabilistic risk and MMV design. It adapts lessons from Abu Dhabi, Oman and Malaysia and benchmarks them against global projects (Sleipner, In Salah, Snøhvit, Gorgon, Illinois Basin) to create a portfolio‑level CCS decision framework for the region.
