1)Advanced Hydrogeological Modeling for Water Security in the Middle East
This work reviews and synthesizes state of the art groundwater and integrated models for major Middle Eastern aquifers, focusing on flow conceptualization, surface–groundwater coupling, recharge estimation and uncertainty treatment under data limited conditions. It proposes a practical modeling framework for the region that emphasizes multiple conceptual models, ensemble climate recharge forcing, explicit representation of focused wadi/karst recharge and integration with decision support tools for allocation, MAR planning and transboundary negotiations.
